A Brief Discussion and anecdotes of our existing programs and activities:
Vedanidhi’s research and revival focus are wide-ranging. It has assisted many Vedic and Sanskrit scholars to complete their dissertations and get these published.
From 2000, Vedanidhi has been organizing daily Satsang programs for women and men from poor, backward and marginalized sections of the society. These programs have been designed to spread the knowledge of Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, Gita, Jain and Buddhist texts that for long have been accessible only to some sections of the society. The program, therefore, is accomplishing the powerful goal of social empowerment and is paving the way for social equality. Another highlight of this program has been the distribution of daily monetary allowance, food, clothes and other necessities items to the attendees. This initiative by Vedanidhi, therefore also contributes effectively to the livelihood of the attendees.
The program that started from Varanasi is now one of the most successful programs run by Vedanidhi and has since been rolled out in Allahabad, Haridwar and some villages of Himachal Pradesh.
Vedanidhi India has been supported by some Non-profit organizations, to spread knowledge of the Vedas and other religious texts to create awareness of the basis of life, principles of peace, the ethos of religious and spiritual harmony along with imparting the art and science of leading a stress- free life across the globe.
Vedanidhi has organized several education camps and programs at Varanasi and Haridwar in the past for foreign nationals, who have been joining us from different parts of the world such as the USA, Scandinavian Countries, Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East.
Due to the increasing demand for our Cross-cultural training and retreat programs, Vedanidhi has made available systemized short-term courses and camps throughout the year for our guests from all around the world.
The modern Indian woman is confident and economically independent. Nevertheless, due to the patriarchal socio-cultural fabric, she has been unable to fully experience the bliss of traditional Vedic Practices.
To help overcome the alienation of modern Indian women from traditional Vedic practices and values, Vedanidhi has devised a special short-term program. The program emphasizes professional skills as taught by the Veda and associated literature along with organizing traditional Vedic rites, and practices for women.
