Belonging to the age-old tradition of Shri Dakshinamurti who is none other than Lord Shiva himself as the eternal guru of all who sincerely wish to seek the salvation or the Moksha, the Ashram itself seems to be a confluence of the Sanatan Vedic ideals of learning, service with charity. Priding itself of having been associated with the illustrious names of great Siddhas and Sadhus like Shri Swami Paramanandaji, Nityanand ji, Prakashanandaji and Maha Mandaleshwar Shri Swami Nrisimha Giriji and many others who preceded these holy persons. The Ashram has been a source of spiritual strength and sustenance to freedom fighters like Shri Motilal Nehru, Kailash Nath Katju, Purushottam Das Tondon and the revolutionaries like Chandrashekhar Azad who learned their first lesson in fearlessness and emancipation of the soul in the ambiance of the spiritual sadhanas.
